Mini Retreat: An Evening of Midsummer Mindfulness – Tuesday 25th June 18.30-21:00

Join Mindfulness teacher and researcher Lucy Trend to celebrate the fire energy of high midsummer. If the weather is dry we’ll be outside beside the water, around a real fire. The evening will be a chance to celebrate the zenith of summer, to contemplate and connect with the gentle flame of peace, compassion and creative expression in our own hearts. Held in Westerton, near to Westerton Station. Suggested cost £30 (or pay from the heart – according to your means, minimum £20).

Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC): Are you curious about Mindfulness but not entirely sure what it is, or how it might relate to you? Or have you practiced some mindfulness already but haven’t found a way to keep going with it? The MBLC (Mindfulness Based Living Course) offers an in-depth personal practice experience, learning stage by stage at weekly classes, through guided practices, explanations, and talks, and most importantly, in a supportive group environment of a tutor-led group. The course enables participants to establish an effective and regular daily mindfulness practice so as to help the mind settle and stabilize. These courses can be offered in person and online by Mindfulness teacher and researcher Lucy Trend who is registered with the Mindfulness Association (UK) and BAMBA

Who might want to attend?  Open to any interested individuals wishing to develop a mindful approach to life.

Why practise mindfulness? Practising mindfulness results in an unfolding of our potential, allowing us to make choices about how we live in connection with ourselves and our world. Whatever brings you to take your first steps on the journey of becoming more mindful, we recognise that it is the journey of a lifetime, learning and growing through present-moment compassionate living.

It provides a good foundation for a more mindful life, but also for those who wish to go on to train to teach mindfulness.

The structure of the MBLC course:

The Mindfulness Association’s Mindfulness Based Living Course consists of 8 weekly 2 hour sessions, and an optional Day of Mindfulness. There is a free introductory class before the course begins for those who are curious but not sure whether to commit to the full training. It is led by tutor Lucy Trend.

Cost: 8 sessions course £160 full price, sliding scale – minimum payment £120. If you cannot pay even the minimum amount please contact the course leader Lucy Trend at info@stmts.co.uk to discuss possibilities. The Day of Mindfulness is £75/50
